So I finished my silly dinosaur painting. I can’t draw stick people, so I thought this wasn’t too bad for my first ever attempt to take a coloring page and turn it into something that looks more 3-D. I know he’s got a really big eye, and it’s not very lizard/reptile like, but it was a fun practice in creating an eye anyway. Have you ever seen a roadrunner’s eye? They’re huge.
This is not the contest version because I added dandelions and mist and another texture for fun. I extended his teeth and claws, worked on him some more, finished the pterodactyl and I’m off on another adventure. It’s still not as real as I would like it. I would add more texture to his skin, but I need to move on!
I now have little one two days in a row. I’m used to having a day break in between to write and edit. Plus, with picking her up on other afternoons, it’s cutting into my writing time and I need to get more focused on that. But I did manage to get to chapter 8 on edits on Dreaming. It has 21 chapters plus 8 chapters and an epilogue on the novella at the end. Hope to get 7 chapters today and the rest tomorrow.
The new grandbaby is definitely going to be a boy! We’re all excited.
Have a great day!!!
