Created composite with 3 textures from Daily Texture and the kitten is a friend’s photo, then I mixer brush painted it.
I only managed a 1,000 words yesterday with little one here. I was doing more outdoor painting and planting. I’ll nearly be to the halfway point on Wolf Bound by Sunday.
I’m off to write before I run off to pilates. I keep hoping I’ll get better at it. lol They change up exercise routines so when I think I’m getting better at one thing, they throw me for a loop with something else!
Have a beautiful blueberry day!

He used to be a shoe and sock thief. He never chewed on either, but would carry them into his bed. Now he only steals socks. I tell the grandkids when they take off their shoes and socks, to put their socks on the couch or he’ll steal them. I find them in his crate, his bed, if he goes outside, he’ll drop them out there. He just likes to carry them around. Crazy little dog.
I’m off to take care of my grandson. Back to potty training.
Hope your day is super great!!!

A bicycle in Cameron Park, no owner to be found. What happened??? When my co-workers and I were hiking, we found this bike and no rider so I took a picture of it and it’s one of my favorites–a total mystery.
Do you ever feel you are running out of time to get things done? I have so many things I want to get done and every day…I run out of time. Even so, I managed to paint some hot pink fences for my granddaughter, put together a patio set, wrote another 2,000 words on Wolf Bound, put out more dirt in one of the flowerbeds, watered, and cleaned up the patio. We’ve been having super high winds and hot days, cloudy though, which really is great. Hopefully we’ll get some rain next week, but that means no painting. No need to water though either.
And!!! Some of my tomatoes are beginning to appear. But something already ate at one. Argh! It’s teeny, tiny too, so that was a surprise.
Hope you get everything done in a day that you want to!

I mixer brush painted the elephants, added my own clouds, and a Daily Texture meadow.
I’ve been out taking pictures of new blooms, and painting some little chicken wire fences hot pink for my granddaughter’s flowerbed. When I bought the paint, I was doing self-checkout and it kept beeping. I wasn’t paying any attention and the clerk had to come over and say it was okay for me to buy the paint. Ohhhhh, sniffing paint. Believe me, I wish I didn’t have to sniff any of it while I’m painting. I wear a mask, but I keep thinking–lung cancer!
Hope your day is a walk in the meadow.

This is another friend’s beautiful cat. She was actually looking up at Christmas balls, so I created this composite instead.
Another day of potty training, painting rusty objects–started on a black bistro set, but need more paint. My granddaughter wanted me to paint the chairs and table all different colors. lol I could have, but I am trying for a more unified look.
Trying to remember which story I wrote that the she-wolf picked up the wrong suitcase and it was full of counterfeit money. I’ve written over a 100 stories for the last twenty years so I remember a lot of details, but my publisher changes my titles, sooooo…. It probably was a novella, but it might not have been. It was with the Greystoke Pack (Bella and Devlyn, I believe). But I want to learn who the mated wolves are in the story so I don’t remate them to someone else accidentally!!!
Off to get ready for little one.
Have a glorious day!

New Cover–the heroine is actually a green-eyed blond, but back when I wrote this, I couldn’t find a picture that worked. She meets the fae on South Padre Island at the beach, so this better depicts the story.
Original Cover –in the original one, I was going for a Dark Fae look, and so found this photo on Depositphotos. But it was being used way too much. With my minimal skills at editing at the time, and the fact this does not look like any of the characters in the book, and that it has been used on other stories, I wanted to change it to something that looked more like the real story. Even a great artist that I much admire tried to change this to look differently and said she really couldn’t. So time for a redo!
Alicia has planned a vacation at South Padre Island with her girlfriend Cassie in forever. But just as they’re enjoying a day on the beach, here comes a dark fae to spoil their holiday, except only she can see what he truly is. Alicia has no idea how upside down her world can turn with a chance meeting with one of the dark fae from the royal house of the Denkar.
Alicia’s always known she’s different–that she can recognize the mischievous fae when they show up to “play” with the humans. Only now she’s faced with one highly annoyed dark fae and she’s certain he knows the truth about her. She can see him, which means her life is forfeit. Add to that, his sister arrives, who wants to play, too. And their mother, the queen of the Denkar, will want Alicia’s head, once she learns what Alicia can do. And all because Alicia was attempting to rescue her friend, Cassie, on their beach excursion at South Padre Island, from the wicked fae. Now, Alicia has really gone and done it–and she’s thinking she should have let the fae have his fun. Her friend’s broken heart would be a lot easier to deal with, than Alicia losing her life. But it is too late for regrets. As soon as she threw the soda at the dark fae’s chest, she had declared war on the fae. And he is happy to take up the challenge.
Little one is on his way soon. We’re supposed to have storms today, yay! I’m always up for storms as long as I can stay home and watch them and we don’t get tornadoes or hurricanes!
Have a beautiful, beachy kind of day!

Gerbera Daisy. I love these daisies because they have such a large flower. This is the only one that has made it though. I had a lovely Jaguar one–orange, and a beautiful yellow one, but neither came back. This one has been here for about 3 years. I need to plant some more of them in that spot.
Have both grands today. Little one is coming. Bigger one stayed overnight. We were putting together “Wish” legos. She wouldn’t let me help and so I went back to working on revamping some book covers and then she’s hollering at me for not sitting next to her. But if she won’t let me play, I have fun work to do. lol So this is one of the covers. I’m working on The Deadly Fae and The Ancient Fae.
Okay, got to run and get some things done before little one is here and they’re squabbling over things. Little one has had a cold, and it looks like it’s starting to run through the family. Ugh.
Have a super lovely non-squabbling day!

Today we’re supposed to have storms so little one and I will probably stay home. When I don’t have him, it’s fine, but trying to get him out of the car in a storm is another thing!
Hope you all have a great time today!

On a zinnia flower in my backyard. Okay, so I took the photo last year as the zinnia aren’t up yet, but the seeds are just sprouting. The swallowtails are out already though. I’ve seen a couple looking for flowers in my backyard. They know they will be there. Roses and Gerbera Daisies are already blooming!
I’m off to work on the Highland book. I’m up to 35K.
Have a beautiful day!

They’re like little kids. They can’t tell you what’s wrong, though you know something is. Tanner didn’t eat his food, and here’s Tanner trying to eat it. So I gave Max his food a couple of more times, then he slept. He went out every time that I took them out. He was moving around just fine. But he wouldn’t eat. My dogs tell me when it’s time to eat whether it is or isn’t. They are chow hounds.
Then he finally ate and was fine. So I guess he just had an upset stomach. He’s been fine since that happened on Friday. But it’s worrisome when your pet becomes ill. He and his brother are 10 this year.
Clear skies. Chilly this morning. Have all kinds of writing plans. I’ve got an idea for a fae story, but I’ve started on a medieval wolf story. I have other stories finished I want to revise (but they need major overhauls–old formatting with really early, early, early writing programs and my writing has improved sooooo much from when I wrote those that they need to really be rewritten–which I’ve been doing from time to time…) and so I’m at that crossroads. Which story do I jump into? A new book? An old book? A partially written book?
I’m always excited and undecided when I have to decide which next book to write. 🙂 Is a character calling to me that he or she wants their story written? Or are my readers? Either works for me!
I have several painting projects for outdoor stuff to do. All my wrought iron furniture needs to be painted. My problem is that I can’t find a mask that can keep the fumes out. So I do a little panting and then have to stop. And I have several gardening projects started and need to do several more. Never a dull moment, while I write this and watch the doves and sparrows come in to eat at the feeders.
Hope you have a decisive noteworthy day!
