My granddaughter and I dropped by Walmart looking for a cursive writing book, but they didn’t have one. What they did have was a robot floor polisher that was following us all over the store. At least it seemed like it. lol I want one!
Pilates this morning, pool after that, then I have the kids for this evening. How did that happen again? lol We might go to the library and turn in their reading logs and get a free book!
Have a great day!

When the plants bite back. I took the photo at a space museum in Alabama.
Okay, off to do swimming with the grands and then maybe the library, but little one needs his nap, so not sure about that. Feeding them because they decided they wanted to eat breakfast at Grandma’s. lol
Got to run! We’re doing schoolwork!
Have a fun day!

The peonies were so gorgeous in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, but in the Texas heat here, it’s too hot. I checked though because I don’t remember seeing anyone who has them here, so I wanted to know if we really could grow them here. One lady from Nebraska said she had to have some because she loved them back home and she puts ice on them in the winter so they bloom in the spring. lol
Me? I grow plants that I don’t have to work that hard at keeping alive or helping to bloom. 🙂
I’m off to edit some more of the book.
Have a outstandingly great day!

Love water lilies but this one was super pretty. Captured it in Okinawa.
I’m off to work. I was updating my dedication list so I have one for Wolf Bound, and then I’ll have one more to dedicate after that for Highland Wolf, and then???? I need more dedicees. I know. Made up word. But I’m a writer and it suits my purpose. lol
Have a fun made-up word day!

These are unusual. They have white on one side and black on the other and red in the center. Love miniature roses.
We had a super busy day yesterday–swimming, lunch out, mall window shopping. It’s so hot that going to the playground isn’t an option. Even at 4 this morning, it feels like 86 degrees out.
I’ve been editing the first 8 chapters of Wolf Bound, which means taking out and rewriting and adding in. Which means I only added 500 words yesterday. So 1500 words from minimum word count goal. Woohoo!
Today, we’re swimming this morning, though before the pool opens, I’ll get some writing in. And then having grilled burgers for Memorial Day.
Okay, I’m off to get something done before I can’t!
Have a rosy day!

Fun, sexy, adventurous wolf shifter romance in the present-day, wild Scottish Highlands with a meet cute that would make any alpha ready to mate and a mystery just waiting to be solved.
All gray wolf Robert Campbell plans to do is move into his new home and open his new veterinary clinic in the Highlands of Scotland . But a simple summer fishing trip turns into a deadly adventure as a sudden, fierce squall bears down on him and instead of a fish, he rescues beautiful she-wolf Masie MacTavish diving in the vicinity. It’s the best catch he’s ever made! And he aims to keep her. It doesn’t end there as they find themselves falling hard for each other during several wild misadventures, including uncovering a murder. All they know is that if they can make it through all the mystery, mayhem, and madness, they want to be together forever.

I wrote this book a year ago, so it takes publishers a while to finally publish them. It makes me feel like I haven’t been writing. 🙂 So this one has just been posted on Amazon for the print version, and I didn’t find any links for the other sites yet.
Also coming: WHAT A WOLF WANTS–July 1, 2025
This is another red wolf book–DEA Ethan Masterson is on the job when he causes all kinds of havoc in a she-wolf’s life–not making the best first impression.
I got news that I’m going to have a new grandchild in December–my son and daughter-in-law’s first, so I’m excited about that. They are stationed in Okinawa right now. I won’t be able to see the baby until they’re settled in Hawaii for her next assignment.
And I have both grandkids this morning, to my surprise. So we’re going to the grocery store, then to the pool, with 100 degrees heat every day, it will probably be semi-warm, for a couple of hours, home for lunch, naptime for little one, and when am I going to get my word count in?????
I did manage 500 words on Highland Wolf and 3,000 on Wolf Bound yesterday, but I suspect I won’t get much writing done today.
Have a special day! We’re going to have fun! Potty training, reading, writing and arithmetic, learning to swim are on the school agenda today.

These are not the covers. I just used them for reference. I have them, but the one doesn’t have my title or name on it yet.
I keep visualizing scenes for both books, so I try to get my 2,000 on Wolf Bound daily, since it’s nearly done (11,000 words to go), and whatever I can on the other. Yesterday was a little one day, so my off day. I managed 1,000 on Wolf Bound and 300 words on Highland Wolf. But I’ve been getting 2K on the contemporary and 3K on the Highland one for several days. Yay! I started at 8K for the Highland one a few days ago. It’s now 22K! Once I finish Wolf Bound, I’ll jump on the Highland one exclusively like I did with the other initially.
I need to pick up my granddaughter at noon, so I’m off to work on the stories since this is NOT my off day, before I have to get her.
I finally got an appointment to take my car in for a recall item that I’ve needed to do for a couple of years, one that’s critical, but the Ford dealership wouldn’t do it. I would have to drive 6 hours round trip to Waco where I purchased the vehicle. But I finally got it scheduled here, so I’m hoping I can get it done without any problems.
We are getting into the 90s all week. This is too early!
Have a beautiful day!

Someone asked if those were feathers, but they’re not. They’re tufts of gray fur from squirrely squirrels. The squirrels had taken off long before the nest fell. I had to show it to both grandkids because it isn’t often that you have a squirrel nest in your yard that was once 35 feet or higher in the trees.
I realized yesterday later that I had posted the same picture two days in a row. That’s what happens when I’m in rush. I took my grandson to his sister’s graduation and ended up taking her home. Parents/guardians can do that after certain parties, activities every once in a while and many were taking their kids home. So I hadn’t expected to have both kids all day, but we had fun. I took them to have ice cream after they ate lunch at my house. If the residential pool had been open, I would have taken them to it. It felt like 98 yesterday and we’ll have a repeat of that today and tomorrow.
I only managed 1,000 words on Highland Wolf yesterday, none on Wolf Bound. I will have to make sure that when I have my granddaughter here all summer during the weekday that I still get my writing done. We played dominoes and I let her play reading and math games on my computer online, and we even taught the beginning of chicken foot dominoes to my grandson. He won the first round, then on the second round, he wanted to place a domino that couldn’t be placed and had a little tantrum. lol Then their mom arrived to save the day.
I’m off to clean up more pine cones in the yard from the last storm and then get to writing. Only one more school day after today and I believe the pool is open on Friday. I hope it’s warm enough because I want to swim!
Have a lovely day!
