It’s finally here! Can you believe my editor only wanted 4 books in the beginning??? But I knew I was gaining wolf pack members. That the more the word got out, the more wolves there were who wanted to join in on the fun.
I’m working on book 16 in the series right now. 🙂 And the wolves are as loved as ever. It does help to have different wolf packs, different places, to really make each book unique and not the same old thing. It’s something I try hard at doing because I know in my own reading, I hate to read a book I feel is just a rehash of another book. Even if they’re years apart, readers will continue to read them and love them, and so we can’t just write another one like that, thinking we can sneak by with it.
Nope. And I wouldn’t think of doing that. That’s why I love creating new stories. But I was reading a book I fell in love with, and then I read another of the author’s, written ten years later, and it had the same opening. LOL. She no longer writes, but I loved her writing style, and I wanted to read more of her books. But it taught me that even if you like a plot device, it’s not a good idea to use it again ten years later. Different genre? Sure. Different world? Sure. But not same world, same situation. Can I use it? Sure. LOL
Silence of the Wolf:
SILENCE OF THE WOLF BY TERRY SPEAR – IN STORES MARCH 2014
Life For the Silver Pack Just Got Wilder…
Elizabeth Wildwood has been a loner all her life, ostracized because of her “mixed” half-wolf, half-coyote blood. When she ventures into gray wolf territory on a dangerous quest of her own and is thrown together with the sexiest shifter she’s ever met she begins to wish for the first time that she could be part of a family.
When this unusual shifter female comes into his pack’s territory, it’s Tom Silver’s job to protect her—if only she would let him.

To purchase Silence of the Wolf:
This is Tom Silver’s story and much awaited, the youngest of the Silver Bros of Silver Town, Colorado, a wolf-run town. It started with Destiny of the Wolf, and Darien, the wolf pack leader, then Carol, who was a victim in that book, had her own book in Wolf Fever, and then Dreaming of the Wolf, was the middle brother, Jake’s story. So now, it’s Tom’s turn.
It’s available at B&N, Books-A-Million, Hastings, Powell’s Books, and Waldenbooks. And more. And also at the online locations listed above.
Somehow in all the excitement, this was still on draft. 🙂
“Giving new meaning to the term alpha male!”
Terry, are you going to be selling Silence of the Wolf at the RT Conference? I would rather get an autographed one vs. ordering online. Sooo, if you’ll be selling, I’ll wait until then to get.
Hey, Deborah, yeah, absolutely! I’ll be at the book signing for sure. 🙂 I wish they could have Jaguar Hunt there also, but it comes out in June, so just misses it. But love to see you!
