….Old.
The puppies got me up at 2:30 am. HAD to go out. And they did. I take them out later at night, and they still had to go out at 2:30 am. Next morning, it was 4 am. This morning, 4:45. Now, when I was working at a job in town, getting up early like that was essential because I was working full time AND writing full time. So I’d have to get up early, write, promo, edit, get ready to go, and hit the road. During lunch break, I’d catch up on emails, sometimes edit or write. Then I’d go home and spend all the rest of the night working on THE BOOK.
One nice thing about writing full time? I don’t have to get up that early unless I want to. I’m always an early riser. Can’t sleep in unless I’m sick. BUT…then came the puppies.
Love them. But this sudden need to go out in the middle of the night is getting OLD fast. So I’m rushing outside with them, and they start eating the bugs around the lamp. IF you have to go to the bathroom, you have to go to the bathroom. No bug eating.
They came in and played with each other and now they have crashed. And I’m tired.
I have a million things to do today, and I can’t even think of one of them. 🙂
But I did proof the print book for Phantom Fae, and made changes and waiting for it to come back from review again so I can proof it one last time and approve it.
And now it’s time to work on one of my new projects, but I think I’ll need a nap first.
Garbage is out, plan to spend the day cleaning the house, and I think I’ll put an audiobook on while I do it! 🙂 <3
Have a great Wednesday!

One of my dogs never bothers me to go outside at night. She must have a bladder the size of the Goodyear blimp. The other? He’s still in the terrible twos and hears things go bump in the night. We will all be snoozing right along and then, woo woo woo. After I peel myself off the ceiling I must take him out to investigate or he will not let us sleep again. Like that would be possible. lol
lol, that’s so funny. 🙂 <3
My cat wakes up my dogs anywhere between 3:30 – 4:30am. It drives me crazy.
I know how you feel.
Bonnie, that would drive me crazy too!!! 🙂 Can’t wait to see you! 🙂 <3
