Really, Mom, another?
Only 6,000 left on word count on Flight of the White Wolf–wrote 5,000 yesterday, finally getting to the end, but still a ton of work on it. 🙂 Still, it’s getting there. 🙂
And more uploads of the audiobook for Taming the Wild Cougar. So need to go over ch 8-11 on that.
Spent the morning getting garbage out and cleaning bird feeders. yuck. With all the rains, they were yucky. 🙂 So I’ll fill them when they’re dry and the birds will be so happy.
I’m doing another oil painting for a newsletter member. If you have a good quality photo you want me to turn into a Photoshopped oil painting, just let me know.

Do you ever have days, weeks, months like that???
I take breaks to do photography, because I HAVE to. I can’t read and write and edit 24-7. But if I did, I might get through the piles of work I need to have done. I did get the bear shipped yesterday, and books shipped.
Yesterday in my newsletter, I offered for members to send me a photo that they wanted me to turn into an oil. Nancy sent me this of Timber, the wolf, beautiful!
I have so much to do, I’m sitting here trying to figure out which to do first. Ugh.
So I started working on the audiobook again for Taming the Wild Cougar, and am checking it for errors. The narrator uploaded up to ch 6. I’m on ch 3 now. I’ll do 4, and then back to Flight of the Wolf. I have a diaper baby shower to go to later also for my daughter, so need to get going on my work!

It rained all day yesterday, same thing for today and tomorrow and I feel I might have ended up here!

The roof line appears to be straight, and the road too, but the house looks like it’s leaning over. But when I try to straighten the house, the road is leaning over. Did I end up in Oz?

Does that make you think of a song? If so, is it now stuck in your head??? lol
Isn’t the dove beautiful? She/he was close to the window. Watching me. They can be very docile, but my puppies caught one once, didn’t hurt it, but I had to yell a lot to get them to let go of the dove. Then I put her out front where she could recover from the shock, and she flew away later. I have to make my puppies sit before they leave the house, I chase the doves off, and then let the puppies out the door. They are so incredibly fast, they can catch birds. Once, they got a sparrow, but I was able to get it away from my fastest dog, and put her out front to recover. They play dead and then they fly off. Still, I don’t feed the birds so they’re playthings for the puppies. It’s a natural instinct for them to hunt, so they’re doing what dogs do. I have to remind myself.
But I’m trying to train them not to chase off the birds that are brave enough to sit on the fence. Tanner gets too much joy from seeing them fly away. Monster. 🙂 <3
Off to write. Only 20,000 words to go, bear to make, taxes to do, book to read, and seeds to plant (butterfly bushes and coneflowers). Oh, and a bunch of the seeds I planted are actually coming up: salvia, zinnia, coneflower. Can’t wait to see if they make it! I’ve never had luck with flower seeds before. In the meantime, I’m taking pictures of weed flowers. 🙂

Will the real Sweet Sixteen Gerbera Daisy please stand up? Two are oil paint versions.
And is this a bad bug on a tiny skyrocket pencil holly flower? This is a macro shot. The flowers are so tiny that I thought one of them was pinkish, and it turned out to be a bug!
