Honeymooners are in Capri

Do you ever live vicariously through others? Reading, watching movies, listening to friends tell you about their trips? Sure.

And it’s fun!

Doesn’t that look like fun? I’m ready to go!

But…I need to revise the novella and send it to my editor, so working on it today. Tomorrow, I had planned to dive into my book that I’ve set aside while I had to write the novella and do the edits, but I have to do a makeup day for babysitting for granddaughter. What? Grandmas have to do makeup babysitting days???? She’s sick again, ugh, and I hope she doesn’t give it to me. I finally slept in this morning (7:15, yay!), no stupid phone alarm going off like it did on Tuesday morning–I swear the fae set it just to get me back for not writing their next story! Yep, I did not set it. And the tune was so fae like, I actually incorporated it in a dream, for a while. My phone is charging in another room, so that meant having to leave the bedroom and turn it off. I was so tired, I didn’t realize I just had set it on snooze. So I returned to bed, was about to fall asleep, and there’s that fae tune again. lol I think after I figured out how to turn it off, I was awake.

I really, really have to get back to the story! Have a super, lovely day. We’re headed for more storms! But while baby slept yesterday, I managed to get all my flowers and my tomato plants planted! Yum!

Swimming with the Dolphins!

Now that was a great experience for my son and daughter-in-law!

I think the dolphins are really shifters!

Okay, baby is here, so I’ve got to get busy, but I turned my novella over to my beta readers and then I’ll send the book to my editor on Friday. We had violent storms all day yesterday, flooding all over. I see we are down from 10 river flash flood warnings to 4 this morning. I hope to take Keira shopping and for a walk before the rains start again later this afternoon. And I need to get back into my Billionaire book too. It’s due July 1st.

Sunrise and Stormclouds

A rainbow appeared and a ladybug landed on my chair when I first started taking pictures from my hotel room patio. Sunrise, rainbow, and storm clouds made for the perfect setting over the ocean.

I turned in Wolff Bros, and now just need to finish up White Wolf to the Rescue so I can jump back on Billionaire She-Wolf.

Can We Say Jet Lag????

Well, I arrived home at 9:30 am after being up all night flying, so I’ve unpacked and am just downloading camera pictures now. It’ll take a while. I have to pick up my doggies from my SIL after he gets home from work and we’re going out to eat. It’s 5 hours earlier for Hawaii time from Central Standard Time, so it meant I got in at 4:30 am. It will take me a couple of days to get adjusted. lol

I love Inge’s mom and her brother. They are the sweetest. The kids had a beach theme, but since their wedding landed on Star Wars Day, and we all love Star Wars, they also had some fun Star Wars stuff. The men in the bridal party had Star Wars tie tacks and cuff links. Pictures are still downloading. These are just cell phone shots. So I will share more later.

We had a great time! I even managed to get through edits on Wolff brothers, but just checking it over one last time today once I get it uploaded on my computer. And I made changes on the novella, but still need to finish it up.

Okay, I’m off to get some other things done before I have to pick up the doggies. Have a great day!!!! Even if it’s nearly done! I feel out of sync with the world. lol

Wedding was a Success!

Alpha peacock strutting his stuff.

I signed books at Barnes and Noble in Honolulu. Still working on edits on Wolff Brothers. Been busy most of the time in Honolulu, so only halfway done. I’m hoping to finish it up on Monday, and maybe the novella by Tuesday. But jetlag is an issue.

Left paradise and returned home, but the heat and humidity still feels the same so I can imagine being in paradise still, if I close my eyes.

Autographed at Barnes & Noble, Honolulu!

One of my lovely fans drove me to the mall in Honolulu and I signed books there, met another fan who works there and gave them some small gifts as a thanks for loving my books. It was so much fun, shopped at the mall, had dinner. But earlier, I went through the zoo and aquarium and took 1200 pictures that I will share eventually. These were just phone shots.

So first, a gorgeous rainbow appeared to say good morning, and then a ladybug landed on me and moved to the ribbing on the chair next to me to say the same. A lovely start to a lovely day.

Hope your day is going great. The wedding rehearsal is in a bit, have to move to another hotel, and then wait until my room is ready, so that will take some time. But hopefully, everything will be great!!

Korean Barbecue

Yum and Ewww

So we went to a Korean barbecue last night and the food was great. My favorite: shrimp and scallops and steak. The cuttlefish? No way. Looked like a tiny alien creature!

I’m going to the zoo today, maybe to the aquarium if I can manage the time, to sign books after that, and to dinner with a fan. I’m so excited! Before all that happens–why can’t they open the zoo at 7 am? I’m ready!–I’m working on edits on the Wolff brother story.

Easter Egg Hunt–Dragon Fae Style

You never know what the Dragon Fae will be up to.

How did it get to be May 1st already? Does anyone else feel that way?

Still working on White Wolf to the Rescue novella. Way past word count, yay, but still finishing it. One of my editors asked when it would be done. When it is done. Truly. I’m working on it as fast as I can. There has to be some thought to the story, after all, and it doesn’t always come to me. I’m still re-reading, proofing and editing it and still need some scenes…*sigh*, but it should be done. Soon. When it is done.
