We are supposed to get ice and sleet this weekend, so I need to bring out my water warmer for the fountain to keep it flowing for the thirsty birds.
I managed 3,000 words yesterday. Which is good, considering I didn’t think I would get anything written. I just wasn’t feeling well. I feel better this morning, at least. 🙂
Hope you are having a fun day!

I took the photo of the meerkat at the Cameron Park Zoo. Love them.
I didn’t get very far on Bear in Pursuit yesterday. Only 500 words. I couldn’t figure out where I was going with the story, so I’ve been thinking. And then I had a thought. So I’m going to try and incorporate another idea in the story and maybe that will help me jumpstart it. 🙂
It’s 30, feels like 26 this morning. Brrr.
Okay, I’m off to try and get somewhere on the story today.
Hope you have some fun plans too!

Florence Fitzgerald’s world is turned upside down when she hires a new woman to work at her coffee shop in the cougar shifter-run Yuma Town and brings trouble and romance in this romantic tale of four.
Frank Everest is searching for his granddaughter, who is on the run from a stalker ex-boyfriend. He doesn’t expect to meet his former coworker at the FBI or to learn that his granddaughter is working for her.
Lacy isn’t about to get mixed up in the dating game while she’s just trying to stay out of reach of her ex. But Rory Baker, a ranch hand at a horse ranch out of town, is eager to get to know her better.
They all have one problem—Lacy’s ex-boyfriend, and the danger is very real.
I hope you all enjoy the latest Christmas tale featuring the cougars of Yuma Town, Colorado!
Is it time for spring cleaning yet? It’s going to be 73 today, but 30 tomorrow. Our weather is so unpredictable.
I finished proofing Cougar Christmas Catastrophe. It’s available on Kindle and Kobo so far.

Print version, Barnes and Noble, and Goggle Play are coming. I’m off to put it up on Apple, and then working on Bear in Pursuit and/or The Chosen Fae next.
Hope your weather is more predictable!

Beautiful bird of prey! I took the photo at a Ren Faire.
Trying to get ready for blood work. I was glad to see that next week I can go closer to home and early in the morning. These later-day appts mean rush-hour traffic in Houston.
I’m off to get a little more proofing done on Cougar Christmas Catastrophe. I think I’m on ch 5. I managed 1,000 words also on Bear in Pursuit.
Hope your day is lots of fun!

And somebody won’t let you, you keep trying anyway. Took the original photo at the Dallas Zoo. Juvenile sister was pushing baby around because he kept wanting to go the other way.
Keep on trucking!

At the Dallas Zoo. They are so playful. He was playing with his siblings then came out all wet to rest on the bank.
I managed another 3,000 words on The Chosen One. I was going to work on Bear in Pursuit, but got the rest of my beta edits for Cougar Christmas Catastrophe, so worked on those instead.
Then I printed out the manuscript and began proofing it. Well, editing it some more. After I finish making all the edits, I’ll reread it again to proof it, to make sure I caught everything and didn’t make any new mistakes. 🙂 So that’s my today goal. I probably won’t get any word count on the other stories. Need to finish this up before it’s already next Christmas.
Enjoy your day! I know it’s a Monday, well, at least for me, and that means seeing the doctor and getting more blood work soon, but….I’m not going to think about it. Out of sight, out of mind, right?

Took the photo of the African elephant at the Dallas Zoo as she stood in water and added a different background.
I’m off to write in a few minutes. I managed 3,000 words on The Chosen Fae. We had wild thunderstorms yesterday afternoon and in the middle of the night. We really needed the rain, but the dogs were terrified.
Have a fun day!!!
