My puppies look so calm here, but really??? They go crazy to get brushed so they can be fed. Then they go to Place. And then they are fed. 🙂

Mom and Pop Cardinal
I’m sure they have a nest nearby. They were at the feeder constantly today all day long. They only stopped eating for a little bit while a blue jay ate there and a red-bellied woodpecker.
The red-bellied woodpecker is tossing seeds, like a finicky eater. Instead of just digging for what he wants, he throws the other seeds out of the tray. I think this one’s smaller than the other I had.
I finished up a Purple Party Bear that’s ready to ship along with 2 other bears, and another that belongs next door. 🙂
While I was working on the bear, the puppies were totally worn out.
What a life, eh?

I bought two of these to grow tomatoes in. And the next thing I knew while I was putting the wheels on one, the other had sprouted a Havanese. So Max is looking for the tomatoes to eat. Tanner is checking to help out.

It’s freezing here. Okay, for Texas, for me, it’s freezing here. When we’ve had such hot weather, and then the temps drop drastically, it’s cold. Frost was all over the ground, so it was cold. It’s not just my vivid imagination. 🙂
The puppies curl up together all the time whether it’s hot or not, and I wanted to turn on the heat, but I can’t make myself do it. My electric bill shoots way up. So I put on more clothes and just enjoyed the cold. And the puppies are curling up together even more now. They used to sleep in the same crate which kept them warm. I might have to put little blankets in their crates so they’ll stay toasty warm when it gets really cold. One can sleep out of his crate in his bed, and he’s done it on and off for weeks now, which is warmer then the liners in their crates. Not sure I trust Tanner yet.
Oh, and Tanner turns one years old this month, but yesterday, look what he found!
Yep, he’s still a puppy and up to his old tricks. But now, he’ll just pose for a picture, and then he’ll release what he’s found and I don’t have to turn him upside down to get him to release it without a struggle. My baby is growing up. lol I do have a time with him as far as grooming though. His fur is so thick, though silky, and Havanese don’t shed. I brush them daily, but he’s terribly matted still from the stay at the kennel. Max is good. He sleeps on my lap while I groom him and his fur is thinner so easier to maintain.

Oh, okay, so some would say it’s just a mistake. But to me, it’s the coolest thing ever.
And it all had to do with taking pictures of all the dogs sitting on our laps while we were playing a video game and having to say the spells out loud. I’m sure that one of the spells created the vortex.
Some would say not.
But isn’t that the joy of making up stories?

So just remember when taking a picture and a spell is being cast, beware that you might just catch the whole thing on disk.

Daughter and Son-in-Law got in at 1:30 this morning, but my puppies got me up early as usual. And the dogs are all barking at each other. They want to play with the other dogs, but since I don’t have a fenced-in yard, I can’t handle all 4 of them at once. 🙂
So periodically, there are bouts of barking while I try to keep mine from barking. It’s mostly Rilo. He wants out. He was so cute last night. My puppies were keeping him from seeing him, and when they finally went to my daughter, he was so happy to greet me. But after the initial barking, they greeted each other and were fine. I tried to take pictures, but I think most of them were blurs of dogs.
Even more fun than greeting the other dogs, which became old hat really quick was all the stuff they brought with them. Tanner thought wearing the measuring cup for Rilo and Luna’s food was the best fun.

Have you ever been pulled and tugged and pushed to fill a want when you know you have other needs you need to fulfill first? Like…obligations?
I am behind on word count. It’s a need. I need to get 5700 words done today on She-Wolf. I need to work on a bear and get it finished this weekend so I can ship it on Monday. Those are deadline needs.
But I also needed to vacuum and mop the floors. And dust. I did the floors, and some of the dusting. I also washed all the puppies’ bedding, towels I used on them, etc. I have too many needs.

Then there are the darn wants. I’m usually good about fulfilling needs first, then wants as a treat, just like if the puppies do what they’re supposed to, they get their treats. 🙂
So, I started watching Outlander. I bought the tape. Can’t get it on my limited channels and I’ve done the free premium channels for 3 mos and rarely ever watch them. But while working on the bears, I’ll watch a movie. And I’m hooked. And I want to watch more. Love anything that’s historical, love time travel. Love the Highlands. So enjoying so far. And I want to watch more of it. I could fulfill a need while I do so–make up the remaining bear for the order.
But, I have to get my word count. And that’s nagging at me. So first the writing, and then the bear. But I also want to play Dragonage Inquisition. RPGs are really addictive. I’m goal oriented. I want to solve quests, fulfill missions, take down the bad guys, rescue the good guys. I work long hours on writing and promoting. I enjoy it, but I also need a break from it–I tell myself, just to go and fight monsters, etc. 🙂
Again, I tell myself–yes, you can. You can play all day long! IF you get your word count. *sigh*
So I have to post another blog [need] and then after that? I’ll play my game for a while, then stop and watch the movie and work on the bear some more.
But what I really want to do is skip writing and play the game.
Writing prevails. I write 2500 words a day, but as you can see with needing 5700 today, I’m behind.
Off to write another blog and see what wins out. Writing? Or…..Gaming.
I have to say that some of the reason I’m not getting tons of word count is that I’m getting closer to the end. I have to wrap up loose ends and figure out how I’m going to end it, how I’m going to get the hero and heroine to say I do without it sounding like any of the other books. So that means lots of thinking…
