Time to attack again. In fun. They were having such a ball.

I’ve only seen a sleeping polar bear at the Omaha zoo that raised its head once for a shot and then went back to sleep. So it was really fun at the San Diego Zoo where they could swim and play, and there are three of them there. 🙂

The one is pacing in the background. The bigger male made a big splash to dive, and the female is up for air.

Another adventure tomorrow!

Pictures of Scotland. Yep, that will work. 🙂 The first is a Highland pop-up card of a Highland cow. The next is the bridge to Eilean Donan, the next 4 birds on a branch with a loch in the background on the walking path to another castle. 🙂 <3 Fog over the Eilean Donan and a breeze-less day.

There’s always next year. 🙂 Dogs were really good. Tanner was racing all over the yard checking them out. When we called it a night, he was watching out the window.

Have a great 4th! Do you know what tomorrow is? Release day for Billionaire in Wolf’s Clothing!!!

It’s beastly hot here. We were going to take a walk to the dog park, but at 6 am, it was like a sauna. Yesterday, it wasn’t as hot, drier, and a stiff breeze made it wonderful.

Dachshunds and beagles in the large dog park, and Havanese and Shih Tzu/Poodle in the small dark park. The other dogs were barking before we even got there. But Max decided to bark like nuts on and off at the other dogs. Tanner was into exploring. Mishka was quiet.

Max, Tanner, and Mishka all lined up in a row, trying to cool down. Shaded, so it wasn’t bad. The Havanese are Cuban breed of dog, so are supposed to be good for the heat.

Then Tanner discovered the water, and he was so funny as he was trying to figure it out, and then had the brilliant idea of actually lying down in it to get cool.

He tried to run in it and realized you can run fast in water.

Teddy Bear Room AKA The Doggy Corral

I never thought the Teddy Bear Room would turn into the Doggy Corral. But it really worked while my son unpacked his car. One place for all the dogs. No escaping the house. Perfect.

I had doors like that at the other house, and it really helps to keep everyone in one place. All the dogs get along fine. I’m getting potty breaks down to a science. The three small ones and one corgi on leash go out at a time. And then the last corgi with any of the little dogs that haven’t done all their business.

I was taking two dogs out on a leash at a time. But the 2 corgis got into a fight with each other over the neighbor’s dog being out on the other side of the fence. And I had a terrible time trying to break them up, so I figured, one corgi at a time. More manageable. My dogs ignore the other dog. And Mishka did too. 🙂

Okay, off to take the corgis out next. Trying not to disturb my son’s sleep this morning, though I warned him, I might not be successful. 🙂

Mister and Missus Red-bellied Woodpecker?

They were in shadow, so it was hard to get a good shot, but this is only the 2nd time I’ve seen both red-bellied woodpeckers at the feeders together, and the other time, I never had a chance to get a picture at all. Mr and Mrs, I think.

Ice cube play time.

Max and Rilo are sitting ice cube time out. Max will eat ice cubes, but Rilo’s not interested. But they thought it was interesting to watch. Tanner took off with his. And came back for more.
