I wanted to do more with this, but I have too many deadlines, so maybe later. I took the picture in a small town in Scotland that had a pretty pond and tons of birds. Really pretty. Love the bridge in the background. And I added the boat and woman.

Could a reporter, who’s not really a reporter, prove he might just have what it takes to keep her safe–for the long run?
I based this on places I’ve visited or lived, and some of my army experiences while serving at Fort Hood, along with some news stories that were happening at the time.

It should be 365 days, not just for Valentine’s Day. Even if it means opening a door for someone, or giving a smile, thanking someone, giving a hug. Showing the world is not so impersonal as all that. I’m off to show some more love! Have a super, lovely day!
Maybe not, but I’m moving in a direction that I might need to change. Still, I have a story rolling, rolling, rolling, and I’m excited! I love it when I get an idea and can start moving to the end. I can change it. Sure I can. But I have to have something down on “paper” before I can change it.
I thought I was going to be behind yesterday on Wolff Bros story because I wrote all day on SEAL Wolf Team to the Rescue. But I must have been WAY ahead on word count, 3500 instead of 1500 because I was right where I was supposed to be. Which is good because today, I’m going to be behind. I’m concentrating on the novella because it has to be turned in sooner. I wrote 6000 words yesterday!! I hope to get 4,000 today and I’ll be close to halfway done. That’s the miracle of novellas. They don’t take as long to write.
Okay, I’m off to get going because it’s almost 8 am and I don’t even know how that happened. Do you?
“Okay, which is my best look, side view, or head-on?”
“Tanner, don’t encourage her. Maybe she’ll go off and take pictures of flowers or something.”
“I like getting my picture taken, Max. I’m very photogenic.” That’s my silly dogs for you. I keep telling myself I need to take treats out to capture their excited looks and not their bored looks. But I forgot. It was really windy, and their hair kept flying in front of their faces. Part of Tanner’s ear flew over his eyes when I took the one shot. I should have just taken a picture of all the hair in their eyes–sometimes the shots that are the most fun are the ones that show the real story.
The good news is that I think I came up with a story idea for the novella. I think. I just have to figure out how to write it. And I managed getting 500 words on my Wolff story, so I had word count, since I was 1500 ahead. And I finished proofing SEAL Wolf Surrender! Yay!
I’m off to keep after it. I’m not out of the woods yet. And I just got word I have some other books coming out on sale so I need to make up some graphics for that. Have a great day!!!
But it was all an illusion. Have you ever thought that and then new deadlines are looming and you’re like…well, shoot, now you’re even behinder (author made-up word that should be a real word) than before.
I managed to write my word count for yesterday, 2,000 words, catch up the 1,000 I was behind, and write an additional 1,500 to put me ahead of the game on the Wolff Bros, due April 1st, because I need to start writing on the new novella, due March 1st. BUT, I ended up with SEAL Wolf Surrender to proofread last night, due in two weeks. So yes, I was getting a little ahead, and now….behinder.
That means I’m off to work! Hope you have a deadline-less day. Hope I get an inspirational idea for the novella, SEAL Wolf Team to the Rescue. I keep thinking of where I want this to go, but it doesn’t work with my hero and heroine having a romance. So, still searching for a good idea.
