It’s March! A Day Late…

So will our weather be: In Like A Lion, Out Like a Lamb?

We can always have crazy weather, but it’s been hot–80+ and then cold 40, and blustery rain and wind. So it seems like it is roaring like a lion, but then the calm will come? I sure hope so!

Woohoo! Done with proofing White Wolf Moon. Sending it to beta readers this morning. Then I’ll be working on proofing Primal Desire for print next. Four books to proof, 2 left now. If I work at it, and work at it, and work at it, it will get done.

But this weekend I need to get to work on the dreaded taxes.

Hopefully I’ll have the last 2 books proofed before the weekend and I can get back to having fun writing. Still trying to come up with an idea for my Billionaire story. I have to look up the other billionaire’s name. He was a friend of Rafe’s and I only had him in the first story. Well, he was mentioned in the 3rd, but we didn’t see him. And I have to look up the heroine’s name.

I was watching one of the million versions of King Arthur and Merlin last night, only with the Celtic names and it was interesting. It was about a druid who was using dark magic to try and take over the world. And Arthur had to find Merlin and get him to help him to vanquish the Underworld god. It was a little anticlimactic, but I was thinking in my Warrior Elf story, I might have a druid or two. Good or bad, or maybe both. So sometimes watching a movie can give me an idea!

In the meantime, I need to keep proofing, and I still need to get the audiobooks ready to sell on Voices and I need to do my taxes and I need to come up with an idea for Billionaire and…

One step at a time. Send off White Wolf Moon to beta readers. And get to work on Primal Desire. lol That’s today. Because I never know what stumbling blocks will come my way. So first things first.

Cardinals Having Breakfast

Female cardinal is trying to figure out which seed will be the best. The male has already grabbed his. And the cardinal was sharing the food with a sparrow.

I only have 8K left to write on the book!!! Lots more to do, but that’s the word count anyway!

I’m in a photo challenge, using light from a doorway to take a photo of your subject. I did it with my granddaughter a couple of weeks ago. So I’ll try a new one with me standing outside. I was trying to take pictures of her in my box of fur and I had to let the dogs out. When I did, I realized how much soft light entered the room. Plus the baby was fascinated with everything going on outside and she still couldn’t figure out how to get out of the box to join the puppies. 🙂 <3 The light streams in from outdoors, but a patio cover keeps it from being harsh.

But for now, I have to get back to the story!!!! Do you ever notice how slowly the time goes when you have a vacation coming up? And how fast it goes when you have a dreaded deadline coming???

Don’t sweat the small stuff! And keep on going with the deadline stuff! Have a great one!!!

If you have it, hope you’re loving it and you can’t put it down to eat, or sleep, or anything. 🙂 That’s always my goal. What if you started to read it, set it down to fix dinner for your family, horrors,  and never picked it up again? That would be horrible!

So I had a “new” bird at the feeder. The tufted titmouse. Isn’t it cute?

Can’t you just see their expressions? The titmouse is watching from the other feeder. The sparrow has turned his head to look. The other sparrow has his landing gear down.

The gold finch is leaning down to talk to the one joining him, and the titmouse is watching the whole affair.

Since none of the birds are coming to his feeder, the titmouse decides to check out the other. He has made kind of a jumping leap.

Yep you can just see the story unfolding. Speaking of which, I’m over halfway done on Loving the Silver Wolf. 37,000 words to go, but that’s progress!

I had to run a bunch of errands today, and I didn’t have time to drop by the grocery store, but still need to get a turkey.

Are you all set?

I turned in A Very Jaguar Christmas edits and am working on Billionaire in Wolf’s Clothing edits. Intermittently, I take breaks to pack another box or 3.  Just like with the deadline on this, moving day is quickly approaching, and I have to have everything packed. Which is impossible because I have to still entertain for Christmas.

*sigh*

I look forward to a few days of just plain fun. But to get there, I need to get these edits done.
